Annlee Ellingson has worked for more than fifteen years as a professional writer and editor.  Currently she serves as a freelance writer, editor, social media manager, and consultant in Los Angeles, writing regularly for L.A. Biz, Boxoffice Magazine and PasteMagazine.com.

Annlee spent a large part of her career in various editorial positions (including “Editor”) at Boxoffice Magazine, a trade publication for the movie theater industry, and has also served as the content editor at Moving Pictures magazine. In addition, she oversaw the launch of Southern California Review, the literary journal published by the University of Southern California’s Master of Professional Writing (MPW) Program, where she earned her master’s degree. As Editor-in-Chief, she directed every aspect of the magazine’s publication, from design to content to printing to marketing and distribution.

Annlee has a BA in film studies from the University of Minnesota and an MPW from USC.
